Celebrating the Sabbath from Maryland to Arizona
From Maryland to Arizona.
Adventism East and West’s creators are two men similar in their beliefs and yet very different at the same time. John Turner and Paul Kirkpatrick have been the best of friends for almost twenty years. Paul does his reading on a Kindle and John uses a Nook. Paul has dark hair and John...not so much. Paul loves his Nikon while John sticks by his Lumix. For camcorders, John is a JVC kinda guy and Paul has to have his Panasonic. One thing is for sure, they both love the Lord and want to see His Word spread throughout the world.
Their lives crossed when both John and Paul, camcorders in hand, were set to video
the weekly Sabbath service at the New Hope Seventh-
John was videoing for the church so members could have a copy of the service, while Paul was shooting for the local cable channel, to air the service on cable TV. They teamed up and have been doing video work together ever since. Both John and Paul have held the position of President of the Laurel Cable Network Foundation, Inc. in Laurel Maryland and both have served tirelessly to see that their weekly Sabbath messages are aired locally and on the Internet.
The dynamics of their working together has changed greatly over the past several years because John has moved to Glendale Arizona and Paul remains in Laurel Maryland. Paul and John, during one of their weekly Sunday phones calls, decided to start a website where they could both air their weekly services. Hence the creation of Adventism East and West. AEaW continues to be a work in progress. With prayer and dedication they bring the Word of God to you.
